How To Create a Website Icon To Get Your Website Tab Logo

I came across a great website tool to make an icon for your website that displays as the icon next to your URL in a web browser and in the tab on a web browser. I have no affiliation with this website and I do not promote any product or website just so all know. I wanted to share this because I made an icon for my websites and they came out great. Having these makes your website look and feel more professional and I wanted to share how I did this.

The website I used is Favicon.cc

It has a icon creator on the main page. You do not need to sign up or do anything related. It is free to use and can make great icons. The format is like a paint program with block units to fill in with any color on a grid system to make any icon that you desire. I would strongly recommend using one to customize your website and give it a "branded" look which gives a more professional look to your website.

It is simple to use and you can create mostly any kind of icon that you would like within 2 minutes time. Once you create it and download, it will give you a HTML code and even tell you where to place it in your website's HTML. This is so easy to do and such a great thing to be able to customize that I had to share it with anyone who didn't know how to do this or hasn't come across this great tool. Enjoy!
